Overview

The Rope Climbing Tool allows a VR HMD user to move as if grabbing the whole world around them.

Use this movement for fine-grained placement within a location.

HMD - A “Head Mounted Display” includes any device that is worn on the head such as Meta Quest or Apple Vision Pro.

Steps

  1. If OFF, turn on Climb from the Tab Bar.

  1. With one hand, pinch your index and thumb together.
  2. Move this gesture in the direction you want the world to move.​
  3. Release the index and thumb to stop.​

Once in place, turn off Rope Climbing to avoid accidental interaction.
